Workshop: WAYS WE THINK – Deeper Than Information by Larry Enterline

How we think determines how we will teach God’s Word. In this workshop we will evaluate a secular vs. a Biblical mindset in teaching. Watch how God can radically change the way you think to radically impact the way you teach! Appropriate for 1st – 6th grades.

Workshop: The Easy Way to Hide God’s Word in Your Heart by Barbie Enterline

Have you ever felt frustrated at your inability to memorize Scripture? Do you even know WHY it is of value to hide God’s Word in your heart? In this workshop you will learn a very easy method for memorization that a child or adult can benefit from.

Workshop: The Easy and Engaging Way to Teach the Bible to Children by Barbie Enterline

This workshop will give simple and effective ways in how to prepare, and how to teach, the Bible story to these younger ages (4-8+). We will also look at practical ways that we can engage the children, through questions and interactive discussion. These “methods” have impacted our classes in wonderful ways, by giving direction to the teacher and by providing classes that children love to come to and to participate in!

Workshop:  Using Questions When Teaching Children by Annie Enterline

Are you teaching the children or just lecturing them? Using questions while teaching can often be a simple, while at the same time a powerful tool. When we use questions to teach in the classroom, we can help the children to pay attention and understand the lesson, while teachers can be helped to communicate and also gain insight into how well the children are understanding what is being taught.

Workshop:  How to Use Calvary Curriculum Children’s Curriculum to Teach Elementary Age Children by Annie Enterline

This children’s curriculum is based on a verse-by-verse approach to teaching the Bible. In this curriculum, every Bible study has its own set of pages and each page has been designed to bring support to the teacher as he or she teaches the Bible in the elementary ages. The vision behind this curriculum and how each separate page can aid in and reinforce the Bible study, is explained in this workshop.

Workshop:  Using the Calvary Curriculum “Little Ones Curriculum” to Teach Preschoolers by Rebekah Enterline

Preschool children aren’t too young to be taught God’s Word. Yes, they have lots of energy and need to move around and play, but they can also be attentive long enough for a good Bible story that will guide them to Jesus. This workshop will discuss how we can minister to this age group through using Calvary Curriculum’s “Revised & Expanded Little Ones Curriculum.” We will consider the purpose of the pages within the “Bible story set” and how to use them to supplement the Bible story and support teachers and parents. We will discuss a few things to keep in mind to more effectively teach the Bible to these little ones, as well as ideas to help the teacher prepare to teach the Bible story.

Workshop:  Square Peg, Round Hole by Amber Lappin

The children who seem most unlovable can often be our biggest blessings! This workshop will focus on problem0solving ways to help and to learn to love children with behavior issue, special needs, and bad habits/ Focus will be on practical solutions for support.

Workshop:  Discipline with Grace by Amber Lappin

His workshop will teach several ways to handle unwanted behavior in a firm but loving manner so you can keep your mind focused on the important things – like sharing the gospel. We’ll explore ways to get to the root of the problem that cause bad behavior in your classrooms and help direct your students in the way they should go.

Workshop : Creative Kids’ Bible Club Techniques by Frank Baldus

Desire to keep your students attention during your Sunday School teaching? You will want to attend this workshop! It will include a Bible verse puzzle and a Gospel message presentation with paints, a sketch board, and at least two of our engaging lettering techniques. Frank will also share one of our many Gospel object lessons. It’s called 3-ropes Trick, where the ropes of different lengths appear to become the same length – literally pointing to the Lord’s death on the cross and His resurrection in about five minutes.

Workshop : Simply the Story by Darlene Theis

Simply the story (or S.T.S.) is an oral inductive method of teaching the Bible to both children and adults. Simply by staying within a Bible Story, students learn and retain the scriptures they hear while the Holy Spirit Himself makes the application in their lives. Using the STS method, teachers learn and teach the way Jesus taught…through stories and asking questions with student participation. And the results are amazing! STS is now being used around the world to teach both those who cannot read or write and those who can.

Workshop : Bible Bus Ready by Anaiah Younger

Anaiah shares from her teaching experience as an elementary teacher, classroom management techniques that are effective in getting the most out of her students. This workshop will give you practical ideas, using everyday objects to hook students interest and, also ways of using different forms of learning using our God designed senses. “Bible Bus Ready” is a workshop for anyone teaching kids whether it be a mobile classroom, Sunday School room, a living room or back yard.

So often we teach our lessons, but are the students really retaining what they’ve learned? Review time can also help the teacher see how well you are teaching. Also included will be games and ideas to help teach Bible verse to your students. Come and get some great review and Bible Memory verse ideas to enhance your teaching skills.
